Recording DVD 8cm footage onto disc

Help me please. I have footage on 8cm DVD disc and I am trying to record it onto dvd. My problem is recording 2 x 8cm discs onto one DVD. The programmes that I am using are Nero express 2.s, picture package(which stumps me completely and clone DVD2. Clone DVD2 is the easiest but only picks up one file at a time as with picture package. When using Nero Expresswith two 8cm discs creates more than 99 chapters therefore doesnot accept the two. surely you can record 1hours worth of footage on DVD although the footage is on two discs? suggestions and tips would be most appreciated
