Tv keeps switching to the av3 channel

I have a sony widescreen tv, with dvd recorder and digital box rigged up via scart, been working fine for months, now all of a sudden when we switch on a tv channel without any prompting the set always switches to the av 3 channel.

Anybody have an idea whats up.

Mine did the same and the Sony shop told me to turn OFF the DVD recorder /player as the TV responds to a turned on input,its so simple why didn't I think of it .
