You can't remove them is the answer.

If you have a very good reason, you could try contacting the AB Ed but not sure they would do anything.

'Normal' questions stay on here for all of eternity!

Thanks Cheeky was just wonderin thats all :-)
personally, i think this site needs a revamp as it has evolved since i first joined in 2004.
posters should be allowed to close their questions once a satisfactory answer has been received.we should also be able to bump our questions back to the top of the list.
I disagree with you on this, Mattk.

Somebody could give very wrong information - in genuine error - and the questioner locks it, stopping the correct information being posted.
Or the questioner makes an inflamatory comment and locks the thread, preventing anyone answering.

Bumping is a pain - some people would keep their questions permanently bumped.
I agree Ethel.
agree to disagree then !
other forums i visit allow questions to return to the top once posted in and are far better for it, promoting more comments & conversation.i have asked questions on here before that have sunk without trace that maybe had i been allowed to bump it back on to the front page wouldve been answered by someone readin who hadnt seen it before.
