If i post this somewhere else it probably won't get read! When you send a text message and it says 'message delivered', does that mean the phone is switched on? Does it actually mean the message has been read or could the phone be switched on? Thanks x

means phones on and it has been delivered. When phone is off you wont get report until phone is switched on, or they may not have signal.

Thanks everyone..Sent a message to my boyfriend, 2 weeks ago which delivered, no response back. (He's working away) just wondered if he may not have got it. Rang yesterday but went straight to voicemail. x
His phone might be bust....
He would have received his message, you only get a delivery report when your phone is on and the message has been received in the 'in box', so even if he hasn't read it, he surely would have seen he has a message pending.
