You can probably guess my story from the title but here goes anyway! I took photos of my friend's wedding and she asked me for a copy. I took the camera around and there were a few photos she didn't want so whilst in the process of deleting them I was distracted for a second and deleted all files by mistake.

I have been reading on the internet about recovery software for deleted photos. Does anyone know if these actually work? And if so which is the best one?

My camera is a Hitachi HDC-65IE and my memory card is a Kodak SD 512mb.

Thanks!

Use the link below to download software which will recover your lost files. It does not need to be installed, just run it from the folder you extract it to.

Thanks. I spent ages trying to figure out how to download and then when I try to open the file the whole window disappears. I'm really stuck! thanks for your reply tho.
Is that because the file you downloaded needs to be unzipped and you have no software to unzip it? If that's the case, download the software for unzipping from:
http://www.download.com/3000-2250-10007677.htm l
When the download finishes, double click the file to install it.
Then go back to the recovery software file and right click, then select 'Extract Here'
Then click on 'Restoration' and navigate to your SD card.
