MSN keeps saying my files are corrupted?

Hey all,
Lately when people have sent me files like images or music etc .. MSN downloads it, then says it's a bad file??
It's like a file where it asks if I want to search the net to download the software? I don't undersand why it's doing it, does anyone know how I can ressolve the problem?
