this was bought for my daughter for xmas when i started downloading it gave me no option of which files i want to put on and started dowloading everything, when i tried to play it back on the player it only plays random seconds of the songs but the counter clearly shows a whole song. I have looked at the manual but it may as well be in chinese the jargon goes right over my head any ideas would be greatly appreciated ta!

Can't find any useful information on the web for you! But has it got a preview button / selection in the menu? (Do you remember with early CD players you used to be able to play just a few seconds of each song? So does it have something like that, that has been turned on?)

Did you buy it online or from a store? If from a store you could always go back with it and ask them! Even if it was Aldi.
