Changing format

I own a CD that was produced in MP3 format.

I cannot play the CD on my personal CD player, only on my computer using Real Player.

Can I change the format somehow so it plays on my CD player?

Do you have Nero and Windows Media Player installed on your PC? You could use Windows Media Player to Rip the CD to your hard drive, and then use Nero to burn to an audio cd. My car CD player wont play MP3 format, but if I do the above, it works fine.The only downside is that you can only fit around 15-20 songs onto a disc.
