I currently have a single connector BT box on the wall, with a double extension socket for my telephone and broadband modem.

Can I get a double/ three connector box and how would I connect the wires from the phone line to it ?

You can replace the existing single socket with a double socket and then use a double adaptor in one of the sockets to give you three sockets.

Or replace the existing single socket with a double socket and then wire another double socket next to it to give you four sockets

This site will give you an idea of the colour codes and how to wire the socket.

If when you take off the cover plate on your box the wires are coloured differently then make a note of the colours in your socket and which number connector they use
My base station just plugs into the socket I previously had the phone in???? (it was and still is a double socket adaptor like the one you describe)
