Files sizes are sometimes incorrectly reported. Try opening the file in Page Plus and using 'Save As'. You might find that the resultant file is much smaller than the original one.

As long as the recipient can download the file within 3 days, you can use this service to send it:

Many thanks. I have now managed to send the smaller file and trying again with the other. If that does not succeed, I will try the above
Depending on who it is to, you could use a peer-to-peer application. There are a few "personal" ones that allow you to share with specific people rather than the whole internet.

Thanks LeMarchand
I just needed to send these files to Serif so they can help me solve a problem I having moving a Master Page from one programme to another and probably the need will not arise again. I did in fact send the larger file as advised by Chris but it took 'forever' and showed up as even larger so I am now trying to work out why and to reduce the size anyway
Although it might be quicker to send the file on CD rather than keep contacting Serif(!), ask them if you can ftp the file to them (you'll normally need to be provided with a username/password as well as the address). You could use IE or download Smartftp (free) and send it to them that way.

Smartftp (with flash tutorials): http://www.smartftp.com/

LMarchand I do appreciate your endeavours to assist me. I am hoping that the files I eventually sent to Serif will be suffice and they will look into the problem very soon but I will make careful note of your suggestions (although I rarely use IE). I'm no expert but I do use ftp to upload my website already so I have that facility but will bookmark smartftp. In the event I have to send further files I will ask about using that method
sincere thanks
