Downloading music from itunes library

I am getting an mp3 player to replace my ipod shuffle, will it still be possible to download my music from my itunes library onto the mp3 player even though its not an ipod ?

It won't do it automatically, but you should be able to just drag the music onto your new mp3 when it appears as a drive in my computer.

Note though that if your mp3 player doesn't support the aac format, you'll need to convert all your songs if they're stored as such.
