disk read error

I have tried to start my PC and am getting the following message "a disk read error occurred, press ctrl alt del to restart"

When i do this it comes up with the same... Is it Goosed?

Looks like your hard disk could be on the way out. If you have a bootable CD with the operating system on it then you could try and reinstal Windows.

Let me know if you need any help

Check that you don't have a CD of floppy in PC, as this could produce the same result if PC is set to boot from one of these.
