Mornin' all. Please can anyone tell me how, when sending the same email message to loads of different recipeients, you can do this without each person seeing the email addresses of all the other people? I have to do a multiple mailing and theres a need for confidentiality.
Thank you, M

The answer is in your question title!

Out your own email address in the To.. box and then everyone elses in the BCC... box.

This stands for Blind Carbon Copy which means that the addresses entered in there won't be seen by anyone else.
Which email do you use? Outlook, gmail...?

Hi Ethel, we have Microsoft Outlook
I don't use Outlook but I found this which explains it very clearly:

CheekyChops - you shouldn't need to put yourself in the "To" field, just everyone else in the BCC field.
Just browsing AB Noticed your answer stevie21 You need to be careful of which address goes i 'To' because this address will appear before all the BCCs and show. This may not be appreciated by that person. I resolved by putting in my husbands address which amounts to same thing as Ethel suggested
wendyl - I was meaning : "leave the To field blank and put all the addresses in BCC"
that's something else I've learned today stevie 21 - didn't realise you could leave it empty
thanks info could be useful
