Limewire tunes onto ipod

I cant manage to get any tunes off my limewire playlist in itunes onto a playlist I can transfer onto my ipod. I have tried dragging and dropping and using the 'add file to library' option but it does not work. Any ideas?

I bought a CD, but it was copy-protected, which meant that I couldn't get it onto my music player. Thanks to your service, I can Download and Burn and listen to my music/movies on the go!
