Hi, I have a few questions regarding wireless security. 1) I currently have WEP enabled (128) with SSID not broadcasting, how secure is this. Can anyone crack into the connection and view what I am doing. 2) On my router WPA is a option but on my wireless adaptor the option isnt there, how do I get around it Thanks

1) Not the best. WEP is easily broken and SSID sniffing isn't hard either.

2) You can't get around it, you'll need to upgrade the adapter.
Don't forget your MAC filter.

You can put the MAC addresses of your computers in, and block all others.

And change the adminstrative log in password too.

Whilst any clever hacker can break into your system, the likelihood of anyone doing so is remote.

Much more likely is the chancer who uses your wifi to surf - and if he can't log on easily, he'll go elsewhere.
