Right, I've put something in place that will restrict access to particular forms/reports in Access dependent on a users NT Login and password - does anybod know how I can make it so that the password is hidden when it is inputted into the main form - currently I have a text box which you type your password in, I'd like it to do something like populate with asterisks as you type so people can't read your password...

Enter '******' into the input mask property of the text box.

Didn't work I'm afraid - basically all that did was autopopulate the field with ****** which then didn't match the predefined password.
Sorry, I didn't test that before posting.

Another way could be to handle the keydown event of the text box, append the value to your own local string and replace with a * in the text box text....
