Measure how long a baked potato takes to cool and scale it up. (remembering of course that it is not a linear relationship between mass and heat loss.)
Because it was veyy, very hot when it formed It was losing much more energy to its surroundings that it was absorbing (from the Sun) or producimg from nuclear decay etc.
