I cant have a satellite dish erected outside my house because I live in a listed building. I have also tried to get cable but they inform that they cannot supply me with cable TV(didnt really give an explanation). What are my options. Currently only have freeview

Have you got room (and would it be allowed) to put the dish in the garden?

That is a good idea thanks for that. However I do not have my own private garden that I could erect the dish in.
A friend of mine had a similar problem & he solved it by having the dish inside the house in a window pointing out ( obviously). He found that he needed to replace the glass in the window with some sort of plastic. Apparently glass blocks the signal from the satellite.
