finding the ram slot on my sony laptop

hi...i have a sony vaio a517B and need to upgrade the ram...i have tried to find the slot and opened up the two screw sections at the back and neither are for the ram as far as I can see..as they only seem to have one chip slot thing in it...does anyone have a sony laptop and can tell me where to find it or know of a site that has a diagram thanks
