Form and Dialogue boxes as an Interface.

Me and my ICT teacher are in great debate to what Forms and Dialogue boxes are(in the context of a computer interface). Can someone please send me a website where I can see what each of them is, not wikipeida though, as that is where I got my information from and according to my ICT teacher, thats the wrong information, well from what he's been taught they are anyway! Dialog boxes are those annoying little boxes that pop up telling you something and you have to press "OK". From a UI perspective they are terrible and whoever does them at Microsoft should be shot.

Forms are defined is several ways. For example, in VB a form a generic name for any window that you create.
