Hi can anyone help us out there please.
We have just installed a philips wireless modem router.
We can get it connected but we seem to mainly connect to someone elses wireless conection nearby.
If we connect through our wireless connection we get cannot find server and then page cannot be displayed.
If we use our old broadband modem and plug that in,we can get on the net and our home page up and there is no problem.
What is happening and what can we do to fix the problem and get a web page up?
Do we have to go into the settings and do something?
Many many thanks in advance for any replies.
We are very grateful.
clare.

On my old router (it was a Belkin), you had to go into the router settings page (you probably have to type in 192.168.2.1 or similar in your web browser address bar), and click the connect button.
This is assuming that you're connected to the router of course. If you are, then you'll also need to have typed in your username and password registered with your ISP, into those router settings.
