A friend of mine has given me a couple of CD bootlegs - ie, copies of live concerts. The only thing is, when the CDs are playing, there is a two-second gap between the tracks - and being live albums (with some of the songs running into each other) it is really annoying. Other bootlegs I've got don't do this - so why is it happening with these CDs?

Your friend hasn't burnt the CD with "Disc at Once" selected. Either get him/her to do you another copy making sure that is, or rip the CD yourself and Re-Burn it with Disc at Once selected.
