Hi, I have decided that I want to buy an MP3 player. I have almost decided on an IPod nano, but would like to hear of any good/bad reviews on this and other players people may have.

Also, I have heard loads about ITunes and different file formats and am very confused. What music can and can't I record onto the IPod?

The iPod Nano range was updated last week so there will not be many user reviews yet.

The previous version was highly successful, selling 10 million units. Some people reported problems with the screen and casing scatching, but the new ones are made from aluminium not plastic. They also come in a range of bright colours.

You can download iTunes for free and play with it. You do not need an iPod to checkout the software. Here is the link

would recommend an i-pod nano great little mp3 player only thing I would advise is to get a case for it and be careful if your putting in your pocket, I had to take mine to hmv few weeks ago for an exchange as after 10 months the bottom half of the screen had become faulty was unclear had all lines through it .
As mentioned above though was a common probelm and im sure the new range will be better.
i would say the ipod nano... they recently updated the gb's on it... and they much better than mp3's as mp3's is harder to put music on.. ipod is easy as itunes makes it eacy because itunes 7.0 has made it for the easiest people. probally a 7 year old child could do it

hope it helps
