grease monkey firefox

i have just downloaded firefox and i want to download greasemonkey so i can run user scripts but the file looks like this greasemonkey-0.6.5.20060727-fx and wont open or whatever, im so confused !

With firefox,
Go here:
http://greasemonkey.mozdev.org/
Click the "install greasemoney" link. A yellow warning at the top of the page will appear saying that something's tried to install something. Click "edit options", then click "allow", then click "close". Click the link again now, and it'll bring up a box for you to click "install" on.
