Am shortly buying my first desktop PC and quite fancy some of the packages I see Evesham, Acer, Dell, Lenovo, Mesh etc. Also see some Media Centres are also available, Evesham, Acer etc Can anyone tell me if there are any drawbacks with buying a Media Centre rather than ordinary desktop.

Appreciate any advice and comments.
