would it be possible to computerize the whole uk archives of electoral rolls (going back over 100 years)- would the elections office consider this option? - how complex a undertaking would this be?- sure "anythings possible" but is this a non -starter?

Given the government's track record in large scale IT projects, I would hope they would never consider doing this. Also, the security implications ... and why fix something that isn't broken anyway?
