Can anyone advise: I'm looking to set up a website from scratch, I've found an interesting site called 123-reg.co.uk which offers domain names, instant site or hosting. Whcih one do I need? I don't have MS Front page, but the hosting option includes "Front Page extensions". Eeks, help! ;o.

You probably wouldn't use Frontpage extensions but it won't make the blindest bit of difference if your package includes it.

Sorry... one more thing! You need a domain name and hosting only. Don't get an instant site as that will have "cheap" written all over it and some wizard will knock it together for you. By using Frontpage, you are eliminating the need for an instant site.

You don't have to use FrontPage. Any decent website creation program will do. Serif's WebPlus 6 should meet your needs. It's free, here:
