I keep getting this message ' Your current security settings prohibit running Active X controls on this page. As a result the page may not be displayed properly'

Could anyone also advise me on a download to inform me when my system resourses are low.
Cheers

Hi there......firstly which operating system are you using, and what version of internet explorer?
and what web page's give you the message. asking if you want to enable an active x control is a security feature. some malicious websites would use an active x to hijack your browser. however some websites have legitimate uses for active x. so you dont want to globally enable active x contols. you should be able to just click on the active x warning bar when it pops up and choose to allow the active x or block it. make your choice wisely
With the resurgence of the non-IE browser market in the last couple of years I don't think there are many reputable websites that still use Active X, so I'd be very suspicious of this one.
Also consider using Mozilla Firefox for browsing. i beleive it is Active X free!!
