my mate sent a jpg but OE removed it! how do i stop it doing that?

Open Outlook Express - click Tools, then Options, and finally Security. Remove the checkmark where the text says "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus". Click Apply or Ok.
