How do I improve reception for use of USB DVB-T Stick?

I have just purchased a USB DVB-T Stick and it came with a small antenna - but I'm unable so far to pick up any channels whatsoever. I'm in a great digital coverage area so I'm not sure why it's not working. Also I'm tried attaching a really good quality Digital Reception Booster Aerial which still brings me no joy. I have Blaze HDTV software to use with it and maybe I'm using that wrong! Any ideas would be great - many thanks!!!!

if you are using it close to a regular aerial socket just plug it into that ... you dont need to use their aerial ...
