Can anyone tell me how to fix my 'clock freezing' problem on my laptop? everytime i shut it down and reboot my clock is a complete random time, usually the time i shut my laptop down! Please help!!

Sounds like the battery on the motherboard is going - it's a little watch-type battery which has to be periodically replaced. It keeps the clock running when the power is off. There may be a small panel somewhere on the casing which will expose the battery compartment for replacement - check your manual or see a dealer if you are unsure.

i was considering that but my laptop is only 6 weeks old!!
