I have a gigabyte motherboard and recently due to my graphics card developing a fault my system had a crash.I have now put in a new card but keep getting problems trying to play games or even simple things such as running a disc from cd rom as it keeps saying its on a msdos setting. It seems my motherboard has reset to a basic level and stupid me has lost the motherboard disc that came with it.Any help would be appreciated.

Any drivers can be downloaded from the support section of the Gigabyte site http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/
The bios itself can be set to default or optimum performance settings as you wish but your problems sound more deeprooted than that in all honesty.
