Links in web pages not working

Hi all, I am finding that more and more links are not working when browsing, i.e jobcentre plus and now elephant insurance. When i click on them it just gives me a blank page and says 'DONE' at the bottom of the page, i have tried spybot, norton, ccleaner and a boot disk to repair any errors in my registry - i may well be barking up the wrong tree though !. Which is why i would appreciate any suggestions as to what could be the problem.

These sites possibly need javascript. Have you got javascript switched on in your browser?

Thanks for the suggestion, though unfortunately it doesnt seem to be that ??
