I have just seen a listing on ebay for 120 new phones. There are 40 x samsung d500, 40 x sony ericsson w800i and 40 x w600. AS there were only a few minutes left I quickly made a bid. I put in a very high bid as obviously they are worth a lot of money, however I have won the auction at 81.00! Whats the catch? The seller only has 9 feedback which is a little worrying, however they are all positive and not for cheap things such as e-books. The seller is from the US also. There has been no postage details either, so does this mean they could just make up any random figure and say thats how much I have to pay? Should I pay? I want to think its real BUT I know there is a 99.99% chance its not!!! Is this a well known scam?

The postage cost is the thing here. what would it cost to send 120 phones (in boxes?) from US? A lot!! I would ask the seller quick how much postage is, and if it is too much, back out, but ask nicely, since it was his fault for not listing the postage price.
I can't find the listing at all. Post the listing number and I'll have a look for you.
Id say its a con. I checked the item you have bought.
check out history and feedback. This person has only ever sold is US and has sold things for prices around $1-5 at a time. Videos and even baby milk.
All other items for sale are on the US site and this is the only thing selling on UK.
OK they accept paypal which many cons dont but I would still be very very wary of this sale.

So it's best to just stay away then?
I think it's a hijacked account. Contact the seller through ASQ, not the email address posted throughout the listing.

This is a one day listing.

hotmial.com ???? Surely hotmail.com ???
ethels right. Contact the seller through ask seller question and ask why they are selling phones in UK. If found to be a fake report it immediately to Ebay
Either way, he only ever sells trinkets, so this little lot are obviously off the back of a lorry. I would get some answers to your questions before paying out any money.
