I assume it didn't come with software?

Does it not show up in My Computer as a removable disc?

I know there have been questions about this model on here before - might be worth trying a search - through the search the site option.

Regards - did it show up on my computer? It didnt show up anywhere. The software that came with it is for Windows older versions only, states that xp should detect equipment! I have searched every possible sight and still came up with nothing!
Hiya, i dont know if this will help but i had the same problem but then i went on to Windows Media Player and clicked on Sync. I used this to transfer music onto my MP3. I dont know if this works for all MP3's.

thanks for that! I've gave mp3 to my brother to try on his pc & if he gets no success either i'll give your suggestion a go! If that fails, its going back to the shop & i'm going back to my cd player!!
Just found this:

i know how to solve connection problem
The thing is, player must be connected without batteries. Just take them out and connect to PC.
It will now recognised normally.

Worth a try - and an easy option - although rather bizarre.
