retuning a Matsui model 20T1 television.

Bought a new LCD tv and moved Matsui to other room. Had programmed the Matsui to operate using Sky remote - which has to stay now in same room as new LCD. Cant get Matsui tv to pick up any channels when retuning using original remote. The "scan" bar moves across ok but doesnt stop on any channel at all. Have tested the aerial signal with a third tv and its fine. Do I have to do anything to Matsui to get it to tune now seeing as it no longer is being fed through Sky box? Nothing in instr manual re this! New batteries in remote!
