Can you delete what is on a rewritable CD and if so, how?

only cd rw's can be erased


If you are using Nero place the disc in the drive. Click on Recorder then Erase Rewritable.

oops, sorry i misread your question. Yes they can be erased. Once you put the cd in you will see an option on the left for erase this cd.

If you are on Windows XP - load disc but don't autoplay. Right click on start, select explore, look for the driver which has disc in, right click on disc name & the option to "Erase this CD-RW" should come up.


Or at least is does on mine!!
