I have dial up at home, and for a long time now its been fine, ie speed has been fine (i think 50 odd kbps)

But over this weekend when i dialled up it was very very slow, yet i havent changed anything. speed was between 14 and 33 kbps. so bad that it often disconnected itself (dont know why it would do this) or said "page cannot be displayed" etc

Does anyone know why and what can be done about it ? i dont use it enough at home to warrant braodband

thanks

There have been earlier questions like this. The speed isn't something that's always constant. There may have been a problem on the line somewhere, or with your ISP that was affecting the speed. Any number of things really.
