Error 0x800CCC3C - what does this mean, please? How do I fix it? I am trying to send multiple mail messages - maybe 50 at a time...

Is that Hotmail?...........if so read the rules about how many messages can be sent in a given periond....other sps may have similar rules. I would say your problem is too many messages sent in a 24 hour or some other stipulated period........commoner
