FTW file extension

I need to open a file with FTW extension. I have googled this and think it's a family tree maker file (this should be right as a relative emailed me some family records). However I do not have the program to open it with. I keep being directed to a free download for 'family archive viewer' but none of the links seem to work. Just keep getting the Ancestry. com site, with no sight of this free viewer. Any ideas?
