Will it harm the computer if I shut off the computer power strip while the computer is in hibernation?

What's a computer power strip then?

When you say power strip I assume you mean the power bar you plug into? The answer is no when in hibernation the laptop uses a tiny amount of power from the battery to retain settings, programs etc. you can completely disconnect it from all mains power
