My tv has a picture but no sound?

After my digi box stopped working I plugged the aerial directly into the back of the tv. There is nothing else plugged into it other than the power cable which is obviously wired into the tv itself. I have a perfect picture but the sound is all fuzzy (like when you have a snowy picture, but my picture is fine). TV is 3yrs old, it didn't cost a fortune but I'm not sure what to do with it. Any suggestions most welcome.

Oh and I've retuned it but still the problems continues.

SCSI I need a 80pin - 25 pin lead - Does one exist?
