San Disk memory stick

I have a memory stick and I am wondering if I can plug it directly into my Fuji finepix F700 to transfer images from the card to the memory stick, and then wipe the card so that I can re use it for more images. I could not find any information about this in the instruction manual.(It does have a USB socket) Can you help?
