Hello, Can anyone please tell me what type of batteries are used for remote control cars, not the childrens ones but the larger more 'adult' ones. Also the types of batteries that were used years ago and the types used now. The reason for this is that I am compiling information for someone with battery ocd, hoping it will help.

grown up model cars use little tiny 2 stroke engines.

there are ones with batteries too and they use 7.2 volt battery packs. they look like 6 size c batteries all taped together.
