I've recently bought an iPod and obviously have started using iTunes. Before, I always used Windows Media Player and does anyone know if there is a 'find album info' on iTunes as on Windows Media? Basically I want to have the right track name, arist name etc without having to find out and type it in. As iTunes is meant to be really good I'm guessing there must be some way to do this? thanks.

If your computer is online, then you should be able to put in a CD, and have iTunes automatically grab that information from the internet.

Sorry, I didnt put the full details in my question, the tracks I want to get the info for were downloaded from the internet and weren't ripped off a cd. Since i posted my question I had a look on other sites and can't find anyway of doing this, is it impossible? And if so should I use windows media to get the info and then import this into iTunes? thanks, sorry for being difficult!!
If you've downloaded the tracks, then they should already be named. (assuming you're downloading mp3s or aac's). If they are not named, then you'll have to do it manually: right-click them (you can do several at once if you like by highlighting several), and click get info.

And if they are mp3s you've downloaded with no names attached to them, then nothing can automatically name them for you.
