Plasma screens are proving to have an average life of only 3yrs 3mnths and will probably be phased out in favour of LCD technology within the near future.

Okay, has anyone got any accurate information - the 3yrs 3 months is a 24 hour figure (ie watching it for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week). In reality, this does not happen - say 8 hours a day (which is still too high) would give a figure of 10 years!
