is it possible to get rid of the above . i keep forgetting to look in there , it's very annoying

Hi Bimbim...Right click the Start Button or the Task Bar and then Options from the menu..then the Start Menu tab and the Customize Button....then the Advanced Tab and after that the Clear List, which will do just that, uncheck the "List my most Recently opened documents."....commoner ;-)

commener- thanks that worked ,. spacechimp-only me here, just forget where i put things sometimes, have just installed cccleaner . has speeded things up , haven't checked it out fully
