I want to send my Ma on some Micrsoft courses so she is competent in Micrsoft word, outlook and other such programmes. I'd say she is at beginner level. Any ideas? We're in Brighton.

Do they still run CLAiT courses? Yes, found them - see HERE. I did this course 11 years ago and it touched on the basics of most of the microsoft office applications.

Try the ECDL, it's what we make all our staff go on as it covers Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and the Internet.

Contact your local college and see what they offer.
