broadband connection problem

I'm on broadband at home, but every 10 minutes or so i get a dial-up box on screen asking me to connect. If i don't it takes me off line. How do i stop this box appearing?

Click Start > Settings > Network Connections.


Right click the dial up network connection and select "Never dial a connection". That'll stop it.


If you ever need to use you dial up connection again, you can always re-enable it.

Forgot to mention - right click the dial up network connection and select properties. From there you can select "Never dial a connection".
