vinyl to mp3 converting

does anyone know where i can get the software to recognise and chapter up the tracks so they don't appear as one lump when i record them .i had a mini disk recorder which used to do it so do i need some kind of emulator.

Unless you have Nero or Roxio burning programs (which may have recording facilities to suit you), then look for Magix Audio Cleaning Lab:-

or shop around (maybe local supermarket software rack) for an older version much cheaper.


There are some others available for download eg LP ripper and LP recorder - try Google.

"final vinyl" and "audacity" are both free and do the job.

thanks,i have audacity but you have to index track by track,LP ripper looks like possibly the easier way,it apparently will auto index.i have just been leant sony sound forge but at first look it seems a little complicated but if i give that some time???
